Airways Learning Activities

cueIconToday we are going to discover what Puff’s airways look like.

cueIconThese learning activities help children recognize an airway without asthma symptoms and an airway after exposure to triggers.

Refer to Learning Activities and Games for more information, including suggested learning activities such as:

  • Haunted airways (you can use "mucous" to make it more authentic)
  • Dinosaur air tubes
  • Create airways
  • Edible airways
  • Make a lung model
  • Discuss a poster of a normal airway and an airway with asthma

cueIconHow can you stop an airway from becoming clogged?

Encourage summary discussion on trigger control. If appropriate, have the children label their airways, then collect the airways for return to the children during the next class.
